- Marcel Moyse

“I had the pleasure of working with Erika as my flute instructor when I was a music major at Drake University.  She is a wonderful teacher, who helped me improve in many different aspects of my playing, encouraging me to focus on details of phrasing, vibrato, articulation, intonation, and so much more.  She maintained high expectations, along with lots of ideas on how to help me meet my potential.  I never doubted how much she cared about me not only as a flutist, but as a person.  I have also had the opportunity to hear Erika perform in multiple recitals, and her exceptional playing stands out along with her gift of teaching.”
